Electronic Resources at the Armacost Library

Only current students, faculty, staff, or administrators at the University of Redlands may access the databases. Call the library office at (909)793-2121 Ext. 4022 or come into the library between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. for more information. The library catalog is available for the general public to use over the Internet.

Databases include journal indexes, abstracts, and some full-text of journal literature. They also include encyclopedias, directories, dictionaries, statistical abstracts and other reference sources. Some databases are only accessible from campus and regional center workstations. This is noted on the database page next to these databases.

Electronic journal listings connect you to the database that has the full-text of the listed journal. You may need help finding the full-text of a specific journal in a database. Call the reference desk at (909)793-2121 X4724 for assistance. Search the library catalog or the serials holdings list at the reference desk to locate journals that are not online but are in the library's print/microfiche/film collection.

Internet Resources is a page of links that includes select academic sites in various disciplines, recommended search engines, other academic libraries, and online citation format information.
